Nezzar Rides Again by Jack Kirby
Yeah, most of this up before, but I just saw the original art for Nez's big splash (first one bigger, second one better), so this isnae totally fundundant. Maybe just me, but that splash is the pinnacle of The Eternals. Embiggen his ride you should, according to Yoda

Batman & The Shadow by Mike Kaluta
Okay, so you may have noticed, in the not-so-distant, Russ laid a wunnerful jinx on me, asking if I'd ever noticed how Mike had done a lot more Shadows since his initial short-lived run on the first comic. Until then, that realization had always been sub-conscious, but now...there's Kaluta Shadows everywhere! In a good way, it's almost like The Trouble With Tribbles (I even have several Kaluta Shadows without Batman that are in my que from mak'n this post). The eight image is interest'n to me, in that Berni Wrightson teamed up with Mike on that one, but Batman has (for Berni) unusually short ears. The last couple show typical Batman ears by Wrightson

The Kull Book-Ends by Wally Wood
Sometimes an image and/or thought is so imbedded in my memory of this passion, I dunnae realize I've never posted , and I think that's the case here. I've been drool'n over these book-ends from Kull #1 ever since the mag came out, and I kinda assumed I'd put SUMPN up! Oh, well, it's finally here, and check out how they looked as a wash under the incredible Michael Whelan cover. The first three images and the wash embiggen nicely

The Other Place illos by Gil Kane
If you love Gil Kane like I do (and what's not to love? sides the up-the-nose shots), you may really appreciate this wonderful obscurity. It was nestled in The Comics Journal Spring 1981 Spectacular. These embiggen nicely

The Dream Spinner by Mike Kaluta
Here's a paradox (okay, just a pair of pairs). The first image of each pair is how we saw it the second time, in the great fanzine Deja-Vu (usually found for a song on ebay), and the second image of each pair is how Sally's Song appeared in the great fanzine Phase 1 (usually quite pricey). Everything here embiggens
