Fantagor #4 Cover by Rich Corben
Ordered this from Middle Earth's Mirkwood Times outa Denver, and it came to me in the mail. I was in the basement (my bedroom) in Colorado Springs, listening to jazz on the Roster's Lounge radio program out of New Orleans, when my old man threw a large envelope down the steps and yelled, "More funny books in the mail!" Not funny. Okay, the lead story was pretty funny

The Silver Surfer Graphic Novel Cover by Jack Kirby
The Silver Surfer is majesty tinged with sorrow, and so is this cover. First image is the best I can find of the 1997 reprint cover, which I looked at several times on the shelf when it came out, but always put back. In 1978 I bought the original graphic novel, and couldnae justify getting the reprint just because it finally had mostly Jack on the cover (the 1978 one is a painted Norem cover you can see anywhere, just not here). Why Jack's cover was not used is a mystery lost in the deep reaches
