One Or Two Covers by Jack Kirby

This Epic Collection of Thor from Valentine's Day is sweet, but Cap'n, obviously, is old school.  Pardon my crummy cover, but apparently my copy of Thor #156 was initially purchased by Artful Antonio Anderson

Amaz'n Heroes #7 Cover by Gil Kane

For a minute, Gil Kane brought back the Micronauts after Mike Golden had left the fold, and this magazine cover epitomizes what was right about that

Flash Gordon and the Space Pirates by Wally Wood

So stoked when I found this nestled in The Phantom #18, I think it is some of Wood's best

Jim Steranko and Neal Adams

First is ANOTHER look at Steranko's most iconic (think I've seen four takes so far), then the only time he and Neal Adams appeared on the same page, methinks (course it's opposite sides of the same page)

Azrael by Joe Quesada

Some looks at the cover to Sworda Azrael Book 1.  Pardon me Steranko and Frazetta, and I know it was just a moment in the hiss of the industry, but...wow...

Harvey Norton by Jack Kirby

The weird thing to me is that virtual hero role-playing is less than 25 years away

Spasm! Cover by Jeff Jones

First the coffee-table print, then the trad'n card, then three covers that look a lot better than the ones I found at the headshops back in the day

Conan Plate Becomes Magazine Cover by Barry Smith

My copy (first) is in awful (Cap'n) condition, yet somehow I enjoy it more that the actual plate

More Preflyte by Barry Smith

Only the first image is new (I finally found the album in The Byrds bin at a used record shop).  please embiggen

Tarzan At The Earth's Core by Frank Frazetta

Yep, another of Fritz's early paperbacks, where he was also illustrating the title page

Flash Gordon by Barry Smith

Seen this before, but this is bigger, better, faster, stronger
